Kawasaki recently revealed images of two new supernaked, Z650 and Z900.
Kawasaki Z650
Z650 will be the replacement for the ER6N. The replacement will share the 649 cc parallel twin engine with the 2017 Ninja 650. The Z650 weight is at 187 kg with a seat height of 790 mm.
It also features the assisted slipper clutch, underbody exhaust, banana-shaped swingarm, Tokico brakes, restyled headlamp, dashboard and side panels.
Four colour options - pearl flat stardust white/metallic spark black, candy lime green/metallic spark black, metallic flat spark black/metallic spark black and metallic raw titanium/metallic spark black.
Kawasaki Z900
The Z900 all new steel trellis frame housing a 948 cc in-line four. The plant's based on 1043 cc in-line four from the Z1000. Kawasaki has developed an assist and slipper clutch to make action at the lever lighter and assist with excessive engine braking.
The overall 210.5 kg weight of the bike and a seat height of 794 mm should make the Z900 pretty nimble and manageable. Aesthetically, Z900 looks even meaner, with chunky curves and pointy surfaces fighting over territory at the front end.
Z900 will be available in - pearl mystic gray/metallic flat spark black, candy lime green/metallic spark black, metallic flat spark black/metallic spark black and candy plasma blue/metallic graphite grey (special edition).
